Windows Server & Active Directory Administration

Active Directory is still at the centre of most company networks. It controls who can sign in, which computers belong to the company, what users can access and how thousands of settings are applied automatically. Administrators who understand it well are in demand in every industry.

In this course you will build and run a realistic Windows environment for a fictional company, “Northwind Trading.” You will install Windows Server, create a domain, organise users and computers, control them with Group Policy, run DNS and DHCP, set up secure file shares, and automate repetitive work with PowerShell. The last section covers backup, security hardening and the link to Microsoft 365.
